IN HIGH SCHOOL, I WAS QUITE JEALOUS OF A FELLOW ART STUDENT.
She was headed to art school after graduation and I, on the other had, just wasn’t as financially able.

After years of computer graphics and advertising design work, I found myself revisiting my original artistic impulses — particularly those of drawing and illustration.
By autumn 2017, I dove head first into a Masters in Fine Arts at the Academy of Art University (AAU).
The school started me off with challenging classes, including oil painting and human figure drawing (both of which I had zero experience).
After designing with pixels and on computer screens for years and years, the idea of hand-painting on actual canvas or drawing with anything but a mouse was beyond intimidating!
