Sketchbook Saturday is all about getting my hands messy with inks, charcoal or pencil soot while drawing my weekend heart out.

So on this Saturday, I’ve pencil sketched this lovely lady, inspired by Henri Matisse’s paintings 👇🏽

The act of sketching is beautifully imperfect.

And imperfection is deliciously liberating.

That’s why I haven’t digitally edited the above sketch; it’s perfectly imperfect just as it is 🤍
