Seriously though … clipped words (see caption for details) — when paired with analog items, such as my pencil illustration and other mixed media elements — produces beautiful results as I blend items inside of Adobe Photoshop:
* Hand-pasted word clippings shown above were individually sourced from a 1940’s children book and a 1930’s typed indexed card.
My analog elements
My analog art elements for this digital montage include:
- a medley of hand-clipped words from varying paper sources
- a pencil illustration
- an acrylic-based texture on kraft paper
Blending these items together in Photoshop, and displaying them as framed wall art, helps make the creative assembly of the clipped words really stand out in a fun way.
