Hi, my name is MAYRA YADIR and though my journey as a working mixed media artist began in 2022, I’ve been a digital designer since 1995.

Yet well before then, art and design have always been a true calling and constant interest, even as far back as adolescence.

Today, I create mixed media art for surfaces, products, apparel, publications, and brand campaigns.

And as a Visuality Coach, I help individuals better connect and cultivate their inner creative selves.

WORKING ARTIST
As a Northern Virginia-based working artist, I create art alongside a talented collective of 10 other local artisans from our working studio spaces located in Round Hill (see my studio here)
CREATIVE WRITER
My debut book, EXUDE — a visual poetry and illustrated memoir — is underway and will be published by Sirenella Press. More writings and visual storytelling are also in progress.
ART INSTRUCTOR
I enjoy sharing my methods and practices with students from all walks of life and learning levels. At present, I teach mixed media art classes (for all ages) at local public library branches in my community and will be expanding into online instruction in 2025.
VISUALITY COACH
Through my visuality coaching practice, I help people stretch their imagination, ignite their visual expression, and harness the full breadth of their creative and most-inspired selves.

BRAND DESIGNER + CONTENT WRITER
Before my mixed media plunge, I spent years as a brand and content designer for luxury clients across industry sectors, including financial services, retail, hospitality, technology, nonprofit, and more. My steep marketing communications and advertising design background spans campaigns across social media, advertising, user experience (UX), television, content, and product design.
SENIOR DIGITAL STRATEGIST
Parallel to my design work, I led my own digital strategy and marketing consulting practice which I founded in 2005 and operated until 2020. In that capacity, I helped clients integrate and optimize their digital touch points across marketing technologies, platforms, and campaigns.
