Keepsake Dreams: A Mixed Media Collage-Inspired Card Collection
Keepsake Dreams
That’s what I’m calling my handcrafted, sustainable card collection, which I’m creating from endless junk mail, (my own) acrylic stamps, collage elements, used paper goods, and more.
These sustainable blank cards showcase a range of mixed media art.
They also range in size, theme, and quantity.
Each card or mini keepsake is made using a blend of:
- junk mail
- paint color chips
- repurposed stationery from thrift store finds
- various magazine and news clippings
- clear acrylic stamps (featuring my own illustrations)
- acrylic paints
Honestly, the photos don’t do these keepsake cards much justice because the artwork looks so alive and amazing in real life but I hope at least these in-progress pics inspire you to combine and repurpose found items in artistic and beautiful ways as well.
