Introducing Little Babbette

Little Babbette is a huge fan of **ALL** things that start with the letter ‘b.’

I created this adorable, children’s book character — Little Babbette — about three or so years ago.

And I’ve been developing her ever since … tweaking her personality and physical look across numerous iterations.

Meet Little Babbette ... children's book illustration and story created by creative writer & visual artist MAYRA YADIR

Character features

Besides her “b” fan life, little Babbette:

  • loves her favorite bear, Buttons
  • wears black boots every day
  • chases blue butterflies for fun
  • ends each night with a super bubbly bath

Hopefully you’re getting the full b-picture by now 🙂

Story progress at the moment

This little Babbette tale represents my first stab at children’s book writing and picture book illustration.

While I’m nowhere near finished with this labor of love, I’m trying to launch the book at some point in 2023’ish … maybe’ish lol (please check back for updates as development continues).

Total TBD

With several things juggling, I’m not sure when I’ll have another Babbette update.

That said, I’m soooo in love with this cutie pie of a character and can’t wait to keep fine tuning her story world over the coming months!

I look forward to sharing my progress, and lessons learned along my children’s book way, as I push ahead. ❤️🙏
