Exude (Part 4): Book Layout, Page Spreads & Design Iterations
My November starts off with more progress on EXUDE — a visual poetry and illustrated memoir of sorts (see Parts 1, 2 & 3 for info).
The past few months have been spent meticulously laying out more than 130 page spreads.
I first began my book design work in early July, which means that at the time of this writing, I’m about 5 months in working and editing page designs and spread layouts.
This post spotlights how several page spread designs have evolved since I first began EXUDE 👇🏽

Though I continue tweaking and iterating spread designs and page layouts throughout EXUDE, I’m at the tail end of this work and am so excited to complete this phase so I can move on to the other publishing details.
